Privacy

You can read without registering. Ratings, comments and suggestions require a verified Google or email account managed by Firebase Authentication. AfterCut does not store passwords.

We retain your account identifier and contributions to operate the community and limit abuse. Public comments show only your chosen public name. Suggestions are visible to the author. Data remains until you remove it or it is removed through moderation.

We use no advertising, marketing trackers or third-party analytics. Sign-in uses browser storage to maintain your session. Film images, when present, load from TMDB; hosting and authentication providers may log technical data for security and operation.

From your account page you can delete ratings, comments, suggestions and your account. For data questions, submit a comment marked “Privacy”: before moderation only the author can see it. Do not include sensitive data.

When you select a language other than Italian, already public editorial text may be sent to MyMemory for translation and cached for future readings. Ratings, comments and account data are not sent to the translation service.
