Cinema is personal. The method can be clear. AfterCut is an independent diary: every review starts with a viewing, an opinion and a desire to discuss it. Reviews are signed by the site.
AfterCut rating
From 1 to 10, in half points. I rate the whole film: its ambition, execution and what stays with me. Films and animation have separate rankings.
Community
Community rankings require at least 5 votes per title. Ties are broken by number of voters.
Each verified account can rate a film once and change that rating. Reader averages stay separate from AfterCut ratings. Comments are moderated before publication.
Spoilers only when you choose.
Plot reveals live in sections you choose to open. Originals are in Italian. Automatic translations are labelled; author-reviewed translations have a separate label. You can suggest corrections in the comments.
